The Birdscapes Gallery “Conservation Through Art” Award was won by Derek Robertson at the Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. October 2022. Part of the award is presented as a donation to a conservation project of the artist’s choice and Derek elected to support the conservation research work on curlew conducted by the British Trust for Ornithology.
